Parkview Orchestra Booster Club, Inc.

What We Do

The Parkview Orchestra Booster Club, Inc. is a non-profit organization created and run by parents to support the needs of the Parkview High School Orchestra Program.  We provide volunteer assistance at concerts, field trips, and other events.  We raise funds to cover the many costs that exceed the school’s fine arts budget, including

  • instruments, audio equipment, lockers, and other capital expenses
  • Large Group Performance Evaluation expenses, including training by guest clinicians
  • sheet music and other program expenses
  • awards ceremonies
  • refreshments at required afterhours rehearsals and events
  • transportation

We Need You!

  • to pay annual membership dues ($80 per orchestra student)
  • to volunteer at events and behind the scenes
  • to support and promote our fundraisers
  • to consider becoming a booster club officer: Elections are held in spring.  Parents are welcome to attend our monthly board meetings with Mr. Hague.  Please contact pobc.inc@gmail.com if you have any questions.  The orchestra student body changes every year.  We need to keep our board of directors populated to ensure our continued success.
  • to make individual donations: We gladly accept gifts of any amount.  Please consider becoming a Friend of Parkview Orchestra by donating $50 or more, payable to Parkview Orchestra Booster Club (or POBC)
  • to become program sponsors: Businesses should contact pobc.inc@gmail.com for details

NOTE:  Parkview Orchestra Booster Club, Inc. is a 501(c)(3)non-profit corporation.  Please seek the advice of a tax professional regarding the deductibility of your contributions. Membership dues are not tax-deductible because they are paid for the direct benefit of individual students.
